Hot and Spicy Recipes!
I love spicy recipes, food with an appropriate amount of heat and spice really is at the heart of many of my favourite dishes, whether that spice comes from pepper or chili… However spicy dishes need to be balanced, not all dishes need to blow off your head, the amount of heat should be commensurate with the whole dish.
Rabbit definitely fell out of favour as a source of protein but once up on time it was really very popular and I am on a bit of 'wild' meat push at the moment and if this site does anything it is represent what I eat.
Mulligatawny Soup is my go to cold remedy, that and a hot toddy of course, this delightful Angle Indian soup is hot, hotter than the surface of the sun and almost all of that spice heat comes from the majesty of black pepper.
I do love Thai food but whilst I do a pretty damn good job of sourcing some global ingredients, those from Thailand often leave me coming up empty. So this Thai style chicken stir fry is a compromise when it comes to ingredients but there is certainly no compromise in flavour.
