This BBQ chicken pizza is close as I can get to a proper “old skool” pizza cooked in a pizza oven, the BBQ packs much more heat than you can achieve with a domestic oven and that smokey flavour adds something that can not be replicated.
These glorious BBQ Sriracha Glazed Wings are my latest recipe from the grill and bizarrely enough it has been a fairly long time since the last one, both life and the weather got all sort of busy since I posted my Duck Kebab recipe, just like that one this one comes packed with a video too.
I just had to kick of this years BBQ fun with these BBQ duck kebabs, simple classical flavours that work really well together in a recipe that has a little Asian leaning but perfect for early summer and late spring.
Now the BBQ can’t quite reach those temperatures but they are capable of reaching temperatures higher than most domestic ovens, I get mine up towards 320°C but you also get that tell tale char as well as a light smokey flavour that is so associated with a good tandoori chicken.
Hence my difficulty, this cabbage steak is not a sub for a steak it is what it is, a fabulously tasty slice of a much maligned and underused vegetable, sure it is not cool and trendy, but boy is it tasty!

So here they are, grilled BBQ ribs, I did cheat somewhat by cooking them in the oven long and slow to ensure the meat was still tender and juicy before finishing them on the grill with my favourite BBQ glaze.
I love stuffed mushrooms, hell I just love mushrooms and whilst I have been cooking outdoors over the last few weeks I have fallen in to the trap of being a bit of a meathead, sure I have done my grilled trout, but in reality it has been protein all the way.
Both myself and my wife were in great need of cheering up last weekend and as far as I am concerned that means great food so we went and splurged on one of my favourite, if expensive treats and broke out the grill for some grilled shrimp.
Here I am back in my garden with another recipe and as far as I am concerned a really exciting one, having a nice piece of lamb too cook is always a treat for me but in this recipe the vibrant and summery pea salsa is arguably the star.
