Garlic Green Beans with Almonds Recipe (Amandine)

Instructions
Trim the green beans.
Heat a dry 28cm or 11" frying pan over a medium heat. Add the almonds and toast them until they are golden, then remove and set aside.
Peel the garlic cloves then slice them as finely as possible.
Fill the pan with 2cm (¾") of water and bring it to a boil, then add the green beans and blanch them for 2 minutes.
Drain and then run the beans under cold water.
Return the pan to a high-medium heat and add the butter. When it foams, add the garlic and cook for 60 seconds.
Throw in the green beans and saute for three minutes.
Add the almonds and cook for a final 60 seconds.
