Instructions
Cut the tofu into 6 slices (of an even thickness) and sandwich them between kitchen paper whilst you prepare the glaze.
Peel and grate the ginger and pop it into a large shallow bowl.
Peel and mash the garlic into a paste and add it to the ginger.
Add the miso, honey, soy sauces, sesame oil and MSG to the bowl and mix everything together.
Coat the tofu in the glaze and allow it to sit whilst you heat the grill (broiler) as high as you can.
Place the tofu on a grid, slide it under the grill and cook it for 3-4 minutes on each side.
Serve garnished with spring onions and sesame seeds.
