Pea & Potato Vegetable Terrine

A vegetable terrine can be as special as a meat terrine, this wonderfully light and elegant pea and potato combination is summer on a plate for me.

My pea & potato vegetable terrine kinda came up by accident and I am really glad it did, a friend in a Facebook group posted the ‘original’ recipe to this and the moment I saw it I knew that I wanted to put my own little spin on it and make it my own.

Saag Aloo With a Twist

Saag Aloo is a long standing favourite curry of mine, the move from spinach to chard adds a depth of iron rich earthy flavour to an already wonderful dish!

Saag aloo is an absolute favourite of mine however due to a spectacular failure of ‘saag’ or spinach crop I went with trading out spinach for swiss chard and I am so glad I did…  It has transformed one of my favourite dishes into something really magical, the swiss chard has added a an iron rich flavour that punches through the spices wonderfully.

I think a good homemade pasta recipe is something that is often overlooked and is a real joy, naturally I don’t advocate making it every time you eat pasta but when you want to make a homemade ravioli or just have no pasta in the cupboard the chances that you have the ingredients for making pasta at home is pretty much guaranteed.
